Backup
Keywords · intermediate
Backup N strengthens a creature and can share abilities. It reads "Backup N."
How it works
- When a creature with backup enters the battlefield, put N +1/+1 counters on target creature.
- If you choose a creature other than the backup creature itself, that creature also gains the backup creature's other abilities until end of turn.
Rules notes
- Pointing backup at another creature lends it keyword abilities such as flying or trample for the turn, plus the counters.
- Pointing backup at the backup creature itself only gives the counters.
