Bestow

Keywords · intermediate

Bestow lets a creature card be cast as an Aura. It reads "Bestow [cost]."

How it works

• You may cast a card with bestow for its bestow cost. If you do, it is an Aura spell with "enchant creature."
• While attached, it is an Aura, not a creature, and it grants the enchanted creature a bonus.
• If the enchanted creature leaves play, the bestow card stays on the battlefield and becomes a creature again.

Rules notes

• A bestowed permanent is only an Aura while attached. It is never both a creature and an Aura at once.
• Because it survives the enchanted creature's death by becoming a creature, bestow is resilient to removal aimed at the host.
