Bloodrush

Keywords · beginner

Bloodrush is an ability word on creature cards. It lets you discard the creature to pump an attacker.

How it works

• A creature card with bloodrush has an activated ability usable from your hand: pay a cost and discard the card.
• Target attacking creature gets the bonus listed (a +X/+Y boost, sometimes with a keyword).

Rules notes

• Bloodrush gives a creature card a second role as a combat trick, so it is never a dead card.
• The discarded creature is not cast; it just goes to your graveyard as the cost is paid.
