Boast

Keywords · beginner

Boast is an activated ability you can only use after a creature attacks. It reads "Boast - [cost]: [effect]."

How it works

• A boast ability can be activated only if the creature attacked this turn.
• Each creature can boast only once per turn.

Rules notes

• You can boast even after the creature is no longer attacking, as long as it attacked at some point that turn.
• Boast abilities can usually be activated at instant speed, so you can hold them up as a combat trick.
