Cascade

Cascade gives a free spell when you cast a spell. When you cast a spell with cascade, you exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with lesser mana value.

How it works

• Exile cards from the top of your library one at a time until you hit a nonland card with mana value less than the cascade spell's.
• You may cast that card without paying its mana cost.
• Put all the other exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Rules notes

• The free spell is still cast, so its cast triggers fire and it can be countered.
• Lands and cards with equal or greater mana value are skipped and end up on the bottom.
• The cascade trigger resolves before the original spell does.
