Casualty
Keywords · intermediate
Casualty N lets you copy a spell by sacrificing a creature. As you cast a spell with casualty N, you may sacrifice a creature with power N or greater.
How it works
- Sacrificing the creature is an additional cost paid as the spell is cast.
- If you do, a triggered ability copies the spell when it resolves. You may choose new targets for the copy.
Rules notes
- The sacrificed creature must have power equal to or greater than N at the time you pay the cost.
- The copy is created by a triggered ability, so it is not cast and does not trigger "when you cast" effects.
