Cloak
Keywords · intermediate
To cloak a card is to put it onto the battlefield face down as a protected 2/2 creature.
How it works
- Put the card face down onto the battlefield. It is a 2/2 colorless creature with ward {2} and no name, types, or abilities.
- Any time you have priority, if the face-down card is a creature card, you may turn it face up by paying its mana cost.
Rules notes
- Cloak is to manifest what disguise is to morph: the face-down creature has ward {2}, making it harder for opponents to target.
- A cloaked noncreature card stays a face-down 2/2; only creature cards can be turned face up.
