Commander Ninjutsu

Keywords · intermediate

Commander ninjutsu is a variant of ninjutsu that can also be used from the command zone.

How it works

• It works exactly like ninjutsu: after blockers are declared, return an unblocked attacker you control to hand and put the commander-ninjutsu creature onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.
• The difference is that you may activate it while the card is in your hand or in the command zone.

Rules notes

• Putting a commander onto the battlefield with commander ninjutsu does not count as casting it, so it does not add to commander tax.
• The creature arrives tapped and attacking, so it can deal combat damage immediately.
