Delve lets you pay for a spell with your graveyard. As you cast a spell with delve, you may exile any number of cards from your graveyard.

How it works

• Each card you exile this way pays for {1} of the spell's generic cost.
• A spell that costs a lot of generic mana can become very cheap if your graveyard is full.

Rules notes

• Delve only pays generic mana; it cannot pay colored costs.
• Exiling cards for delve is part of paying the cost, so it cannot be responded to.
• Delve does not change the spell's mana value.
