To discover N is to dig for a cheap card and play it for free or keep it.

How it works

• Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with mana value N or less.
• You may cast that card without paying its mana cost, or put it into your hand.
• Put all the other exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Rules notes

• Discover is similar to cascade, but you may choose to keep the card in hand instead of casting it, and the cap is a fixed mana value rather than "less than the source."
• If you cast the discovered card, it is cast, so cast triggers fire and it can be countered.
