Enrage

Keywords · beginner

Enrage is an ability word. A creature with enrage triggers an ability whenever it is dealt damage.

How it works

• Enrage abilities read "Whenever this creature is dealt damage, [effect]."
• Any damage to the creature, from combat or otherwise, sets off the trigger.

Rules notes

• Enrage makes blocking or pinging the creature risky for opponents, since damaging it gives you the payoff.
• The trigger fires after damage is dealt, even if the damage was lethal and the creature is dying.
