Flash

You may cast this spell any time you could cast an instant.
How it works
- Lifts the "sorcery speed only" restriction for permanents.
- A flash creature can come down at the end of an opponent's turn, on your opponent's combat step as a surprise blocker, or in response to an opponent's spell.
- Flash creatures don't have summoning sickness when entering -- but they still can't attack until your next turn unless they also have haste.
Common interactions
- Flash + ETB triggers: Brutalizer Exarch, Reflector Mage, Spell Queller -- powerful because you trigger them at instant speed.
- Flash + auras / equipment that grant flash: gives you political flexibility -- you can hold mana and respond instead of telegraphing on your turn.
- Yorion and other mass-flicker effects pair with flash creatures for value at instant speed.
