To forage is a cost paid from your graveyard or with a Food token.

How it works

• To forage, do one of the following: exile three cards from your graveyard, or sacrifice a Food.
• Foraging is usually an additional cost or a condition that powers up an effect on the card.

Rules notes

• Forage gives you two ways to pay, so it works whether you have a stocked graveyard or a Food token to spare.
• Because foraging can exile graveyard cards, it competes with other graveyard mechanics for resources.
