Freerunning
Keywords · intermediate
Freerunning is an alternative cost rewarding stealthy attacks. You may cast a spell with freerunning for its freerunning cost if you dealt combat damage to a player this turn with an Assassin or with your commander.
How it works
- If an Assassin you control, or your commander, dealt combat damage to a player earlier in the turn, you may pay the freerunning cost instead of the mana cost.
- The freerunning cost is usually cheaper.
Rules notes
- The combat damage condition is checked as you begin casting the freerunning spell.
- Freerunning is an alternative cost; the spell's mana value stays as printed.
