Goad
Keywords · intermediate
To goad a creature forces it to attack someone other than you.
How it works
- Until your next turn, a goaded creature attacks each combat if able, and it must attack a player other than you if able.
- The goaded creature's controller still chooses which legal opponent it attacks and still declares it as an attacker.
Rules notes
- Goad is a multiplayer tool: it turns an opponent's creatures against the rest of the table.
- If the only player a goaded creature could attack is you, it may attack you, since it must attack if able.
- Goad does not give you control of the creature; its own controller still makes the decisions within the goad restrictions.
