Haunt delays an effect until a haunted creature dies.

How it works

• When a creature with haunt dies, or when an instant or sorcery with haunt resolves, it is exiled "haunting" a creature an opponent controls.
• When that haunted creature dies, the haunt card's ability triggers and its effect happens.

Rules notes

• A haunting card waits in exile; it is not in any player's graveyard.
• Haunt effects can be repeated value if the haunting card re-haunts as part of its own effect.
