Ingest

Keywords · beginner

Ingest exiles cards from an opponent's library on combat damage. It reads "Ingest."

How it works

• Whenever a creature with ingest deals combat damage to a player, that player exiles the top card of their library.

Rules notes

• Ingest mills into exile, not into the graveyard, which keeps cards away from graveyard recursion.
• It is mainly a support mechanic for cards that care about cards in exile.
