Inspired is an ability word. A creature with inspired triggers an ability whenever it becomes untapped.

How it works

• Inspired abilities read "Whenever this creature becomes untapped, [effect]."
• The trigger fires as the creature untaps, usually during your untap step after it attacked.

Rules notes

• Inspired rewards tapping the creature, often by attacking, since it pays off when the creature untaps next turn.
• Effects that untap the creature at other times also set off inspired.
