Job select is a triggered ability on Equipment cards that creates its own creature to wear it as soon as it enters.

How it works

• When the Equipment enters, it creates a 1/1 colorless Hero creature token, then attaches itself to that token automatically. You don't choose a target.
• The Hero token then benefits from whatever the Equipment grants, such as stat boosts, keywords, or added creature types from the Equipment's other text.

Rules notes

• Job select fires only once, when the Equipment enters the battlefield. It does not attach to a creature you already control.
• The equip cost printed on the card is a separate activated ability you can use later, at sorcery speed, to move the Equipment to a different creature you control.
