Jump-start
Keywords · beginner
Jump-start lets an instant or sorcery be cast a second time from the graveyard. It reads "Jump-start."
How it works
- You may cast a card with jump-start from your graveyard by paying its mana cost and discarding a card as an additional cost.
- After a spell cast with jump-start resolves, it is exiled instead of returning to the graveyard.
Rules notes
- Jump-start gives a spell exactly one extra use, fueled by discarding a card.
- Casting via jump-start is a normal cast, so cast triggers fire and the spell can be countered.
