To manifest the top card of your library is to put it onto the battlefield face down as a creature.

How it works

• Put the top card of your library onto the battlefield face down. It is a 2/2 colorless creature with no name, types, or abilities.
• Any time you have priority, if the face-down card is a creature card, you may turn it face up by paying its mana cost.

Rules notes

• Only a creature card can be turned face up this way. A manifested noncreature card stays a face-down 2/2.
• A face-down manifested permanent is a real 2/2 creature; it can attack and block.
• Turning a manifested card face up is a special action, not casting; cast triggers do not fire.
