Morbid is an ability word. A card with morbid gets a bonus if a creature died this turn.

How it works

• Morbid checks whether any creature, yours or an opponent's, was put into a graveyard from the battlefield earlier this turn.
• If so, the morbid ability applies.

Rules notes

• Morbid is usually checked as a spell resolves or as an ability triggers, not continuously.
• A creature being exiled, bounced, or sacrificed to another zone is not "dying"; only going to the graveyard from the battlefield counts.
