Outlast lets a creature slowly grow itself. It reads "Outlast [cost]."

How it works

• Outlast is an activated ability: pay its cost and tap the creature to put a +1/+1 counter on it.
• It can only be activated at sorcery speed (any time you could cast a sorcery).

Rules notes

• Because outlast taps the creature, a creature that outlasts cannot also attack or block that turn.
• Some cards reward you for having creatures with +1/+1 counters, which makes outlast a slow but steady enabler.
