Plot
Keywords · intermediate
Plot lets you pay for a card on one turn and cast it free on a later turn. It reads "Plot [cost]."
How it works
- During your turn, any time you could cast a sorcery, you may pay a card's plot cost and exile it from your hand. This is the "plot" action.
- On a later turn, you may cast that card from exile without paying its mana cost. You can only do this as a sorcery.
Rules notes
- A plotted card is exiled, not hidden face down, so opponents can see it.
- You must wait until a later turn; you cannot plot and cast the same card on the same turn.
- Casting a plotted card is a normal cast, so cast triggers fire.
