Proliferate

Proliferate -- choose any number of permanents and/or players that have a counter, and give each one another counter of a kind it already has.

How it works

• Pick which counter type to add per chosen target. A planeswalker with loyalty counters gets another loyalty counter, a creature with +1/+1 counters gets another +1/+1, etc.
• You may proliferate 0 targets if you want -- the effect doesn't force action.
• Works on opponents' permanents too -- you can give an opponent another -1/-1 counter on their creature, or another poison counter to a player.

Common interactions

• Atraxa decks stake their entire game plan on proliferate. Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Atraxa, Grand Unifier (different design but same name space).
• Planeswalkers + proliferate: get an extra loyalty per turn.
• Infect / poison: proliferate ramps poison counters on opponents toward 10.
• +1/+1 counter decks: proliferate stacks your board.
