Radiance

Keywords · intermediate

Radiance is an ability word. A radiance spell or ability affects a chosen permanent and every other permanent that shares a color with it.

How it works

• A radiance effect targets one permanent, then also applies to all other permanents that share at least one color with the target.
• Choosing a multicolored permanent widens the spread.

Rules notes

• Only the one permanent is targeted; the others are affected without being targeted, so hexproof and shroud do not protect them from a radiance effect.
• Colorless permanents share no color, so a radiance effect on a colorless permanent only affects that one.
