Read Ahead

Keywords · intermediate

Read ahead is a Saga keyword that lets you skip ahead in the story. It reads "Read ahead."

How it works

• As a Saga with read ahead enters the battlefield, choose a chapter. The Saga enters with that many lore counters.
• This lets you jump straight to a later chapter instead of always starting at chapter one.

Rules notes

• Choosing a chapter lets you fire the chapter ability you want immediately, but you skip the earlier chapters' effects.
• A Saga is sacrificed once its lore counters reach its final chapter, so reading ahead also shortens the Saga's life.
