Replicate

Keywords · intermediate

Replicate lets you copy a spell by paying extra. It reads "Replicate [cost]."

How it works

• As you cast a spell with replicate, you may pay the replicate cost any number of times.
• When the spell resolves, a triggered ability creates one copy of it for each time you paid replicate. You may choose new targets for each copy.

Rules notes

• The copies are created by a triggered ability, not cast. "When you cast" triggers do not fire for the copies.
• The number of replications is locked in when the spell is cast.
