Reveal

Keywords · beginner

To reveal a card means to show it to all players.

How it works

• A revealed card stays in whatever zone it is in. Revealing a card from your hand does not move it.
• Effects often have you reveal a card to prove it meets a condition, or as part of searching your library.

Rules notes

• Revealing is not the same as putting a card into your hand or playing it. It is purely showing the card.
• A card stays revealed only as long as the effect needs; afterward it is treated normally.
