Spell Mastery

Keywords · beginner

Spell mastery is an ability word. A card with spell mastery gains a bonus if there are two or more instant and/or sorcery cards in your graveyard.

How it works

• Count the instant and sorcery cards in your graveyard. If there are two or more, spell mastery is active.

Rules notes

• Only instant and sorcery cards count, not other card types.
• Spell mastery is checked when the relevant spell resolves or ability triggers.
