Spree
Keywords · intermediate
Spree is a modal ability that lets you choose one or more modes on a spell, each adding its own cost.
How it works
- As you cast a spree spell, choose one or more of its modes and pay the additional cost listed for each mode you choose.
- Every mode you choose stacks its effect onto the same spell; choosing more modes costs more mana but does more.
- Cards with spree mark each mode with a plus sign (+) instead of a bullet point.
Rules notes
- The plus-sign icon is a visual reminder only; it carries no rules meaning beyond flagging spree.
- Spree costs are additional costs on top of the spell's normal mana cost, not a replacement for it.
