Suspect
Keywords · beginner
To suspect a creature gives it a lasting designation with two effects.
How it works
- A suspected creature has menace and can't block.
- The designation stays on the creature until something specifically removes it.
Rules notes
- Suspecting an opponent's creature is a downside for them: it can't hold back on defense.
- Suspecting your own creature can be an upside, since menace makes it harder to block.
- Some cards stop a creature from being suspected or remove the suspected status.
