Sweep

Keywords · intermediate

Sweep is an ability word. A sweep spell or ability returns lands to your hand and scales with how many you returned.

How it works

• A sweep effect has you return any number of lands of a chosen basic type that you control to your hand.
• The card's effect grows with the number of lands returned.

Rules notes

• Sweep is a real cost: you set yourself back on lands to power up the effect.
• Returning lands works best with cards that can replay or otherwise use lands in hand.
