Transfigure swaps a creature on the battlefield for a different one of the same cost. It reads "Transfigure [cost]."

How it works

• Transfigure is an activated ability: pay the cost and sacrifice the creature.
• Search your library for a creature card with the same mana value as the transfigured creature, put it onto the battlefield, and shuffle.
• Transfigure can only be activated at sorcery speed.

Rules notes

• The fetched creature is put directly onto the battlefield, so its enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger.
• Sacrificing the transfigure creature can trigger its own death abilities.
