Graveyard hate

More to explore · beginner

Graveyard hate is the deckbuilding term for cards that limit how another deck can use its graveyard. Some remove selected cards, some clear a whole graveyard, and some keep cards from reaching or leaving it.

The label describes a job, not one exact effect. Read the card's current Oracle text before deciding what it can stop. In the deck builder, graveyard hate belongs with interaction and is a play note unless it creates one of the builder's closed structural problems.
